Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 from Decca Records. It has been praised by the media and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano that was in her basement, and bewildered by the sound it produced. Her parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but as a way to develop. In the end, she started writing songs of her own. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favourite composers. She began performing her music in public when her mother said they can help other people, not be famous with her work but to make people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and started writing songs at the age of nine. Her family didn't have any idea until she was 14. Aurora's fame was not her goal. She just loves to write songs. She claims that music is her favorite way of feeling anything.
